Jennifer B. Barthol, CEP, has been in the financial services industry since 1986 but found her niche working with estate planning attorneys and CPAs as a paralegal. Now, she’s a certified estate planner and helps her clients find solutions that fit their life-long goals.

Making a Difference

Barthol says that her clients range from “senior Millennials to octogenarians.”  She works with state employees to help them understand their pensions and how they factor into an overall retirement plan. The best part of her job, she says, is when her clients give a simple “thank you” or let her know about a life-changing event, like the birth of a child or grandchild. She’s passionate about what she does, saying, “I just love estate planning. How can you live without an estate plan?”

The Benefits of NAIFA

Barthol decided to become a NAIFA member after discovering NAIFA’s 2021 Advanced Practice Center Impact Week webinars. She’s eager to enjoy all the benefits of NAIFA membership and participate in more of NAIFA’s webinars in the future. “I’m excited and looking forward to [what NAIFA has to offer] and to show off NAIFA as well,” she says. “I’m NAIFA proud!”

Outside of the Office

When she’s not working, Barthol loves spending time with her family. She is a new grandmother, with a 6-month-old granddaughter and a 3-year-old grandson.

Thank you, Jennifer, for your hard work and dedication. We look forward to a bright future in the association for you and are NAIFA proud to call you one of our own.
